报告摘要:
Asymptotically flat spacetime serves as a valuable framework for testing theories of gravity, in both classical and quantum regimes. Recent study by Ashtekar and Speziale have demonstrated that the null infinity of an asymptotically flat spacetime can be formulated as a weakly isolated horizon (WIH) under an appropriate choice of conformal gauge. In this talk, I will firstly give a brief review the work by Ashtekar and Speziale. Then, inspired by the pioneer investigations of (weakly) isolated horizon, I will demonstrate how to model the null infinity as two SU(2) Chern-Simons theories. Finally, I will quantize the null infinity basing on the quantized Chern-Simons Theory.
报告人简介:
谭鸿威,现为湖南工学院讲师。本科毕业于广州大学物理系,博士毕业于佛罗里达大西洋大学物理系,师从国际知名圈量子引力学者韩慕辛教授。目前主要研究兴趣集中于圈量子引力和渐近平直时空,在PRD,PLB, JCAP等刊物发表文章多篇。
